Indian Army Organizes Multi-Specialist Medical Camp for Veer Naris and Ex-Servicemen in Khour

Budhwal :DD, As part of Kargil Vijay Diwas celebrations, the Indian Army, under the aegis of Manawar Yodha Brigade, organized a Multi-Specialist Medical Camp at Budhwal, Khour Zone, on 25 July 2025. The camp was dedicated to the Veer Naris, widows, and ex-servicemen residing in the remote and border villages of the region.

The outreach initiative benefitted a total of 83 individuals, who received comprehensive medical checkups, consultations, and essential medicines. To further support the elderly, walking sticks were distributed to aged Veer Naris, widows, and ex-servicemen, reaffirming the Army’s enduring commitment to their welfare.

Doctors and medical specialists from the Indian Army rendered their services during the camp, addressing a wide spectrum of health issues and ensuring vital healthcare access in this underserved region.

This humanitarian initiative not only underscores the Indian Army’s dedication to veteran welfare and community support but also highlights its crucial role in nation building and extending compassionate outreach to those who have served the country.
