Indian Army Organizes Painting Competition at Surankote, Poonch

Poonch: DD, The Indian Army organized a vibrant painting competition at Army Goodwill School (AGS) Potha, Surankote on 18 July 2025. The event saw enthusiastic participation from students of classes 5 to 8, who skilfully transformed blank canvases into powerful expressions of peace, nature, patriotism, and community spirit.

A total of 35 students showcased their artistic talents, with each painting reflecting creativity, thoughtfulness and the values instilled at AGS, Potha. The artworks were evaluated by a panel of teachers who commended the students’ innovative use of color, storytelling and originality. The competition not only highlighted the students’ artistic abilities but also fostered a spirit of expression and imagination, encouraging young minds to explore their creativity.DD
