Poonch : DD, As part of Operation Sadbhavana Project 2025 and the ongoing efforts to foster youth development through sports, the Ace of Spades Division, successfully organized a Volleyball Championship on 26-27 November 2025. The event, a major highlight of the Mendhar Sports Fest 2025, saw participation from 12 teams, including both boys and girls, demonstrating remarkable energy, competitive spirit and sportsmanship. The championship attracted enthusiastic crowds and provided an excellent platform for local youth to showcase their skills and talents. Young players exhibited exceptional teamwork, discipline and competitive zeal throughout the tournament, making the event a thrilling spectacle. This initiative not only promoted healthy competition but also strengthened the relationship between the Indian Army and the local community, especially the youth. It served as a vital opportunity to identify and nurture promising athletes who can be groomed for higher-level sporting opportunities.
