Indian Army provides free medical care to 64 civilian at Chasana, Reasi

Reasi: DD, The Indian Army conducted a medical patrol at the remote location of Chasana in District Reasi as part of its continued outreach to remote and underserved regions.
A total of 64 civilians attended the initiative, which aimed to provide essential medical support and healthcare awareness to the local population residing in these far-flung areas.
A dedicated medical team from the Indian Army examined numerous villagers, provided free medicines and advised them on basic health and hygiene practices.
“Special focus was given to women, children and the elderly, ensuring timely treatment and referrals wherever required. The local residents expressed their heartfelt gratitude for the Indian Army’s sustained efforts in addressing their healthcare needs,” an official statement informed.
Such initiatives not only strengthen the bond between the Army and the local populace but also contribute significantly to the overall well-being and development of the region.
The Indian Army remains committed to serving the nation and its people, especially those living in remote and challenging terrains.DD
