Indian Army soldier injured in landmine explosion in Poonch

Poonch: DD, An Indian Army soldier today sustained injuries, when he accidently stepped on a landmine along the Line of Control (LoC) in Digwar area in District Poonch.
The reports claim that the soldier was on a routine duty when he stepped on the landmine inadvertently that exploded in which he sustained injuries.


The injured soldier was evacuated and rushed to the nearby hospital. Later, he was airlifted to Udhampur for advanced treatment, the report claimed. However, there was no official word about the incident.DD
