Indian Army soldier injured in suspected sniper fire on LoC in Nowshera

RAJOURI:DD, An Indian Army soldier on Monday sustained bullet injuries along the Line of Control in Nowshera area of District Rajouri.
Official sources told Diplomat Digital that an Indian army jawan, who was guarding a forward post along the Line of Control in Nowshera, sustained bullet injury due to suspected sniper fire.
“The soldier was immediately evacuated in an army chopper to the GH Army Hospital Rajouri,” they added.
Following the incident, the troopers have been put on alert to avert any kind of attempt from the enemy. Further details are awaited.DD
