INDIAN ARMY TEAM SHINES AT THE 38TH NATIONAL GAMES

Jammu : DD, The Indian Army has once again demonstrated its unparalleled sportsmanship and excellence, dominating the 38th National Games being held in Uttarakhand. Representing the Army with pride, the athletes, trained at the Army Sports Institute in Pune, showcased exceptional performances across multiple disciplines.

In diving, the Indian Army team clinched an impressive seven medals, including three gold, three silver, and one bronze. Their remarkable consistency and technical skill in the water set them apart, making them dominant in the competition.

The weightlifting team also delivered a stellar performance, securing a total of nine medals, with two gold, four silver, and three bronze, highlighting their strength and determination in one of the most physically demanding sports.

The Army’s archery team demonstrated precision and focus, bringing home a total of four medals, including one gold, one silver, and two bronze, proving their mastery with the bow and arrow.

The boxing team delivered a stellar performance, capturing six medals, including four gold, and emerging as one of the standout teams of the games. With the games still underway, the Indian Army team is poised to secure even more medals across other disciplines.

These remarkable achievements further underline the Indian Army’s commitment to excellence in sports, with its athletes continually setting new benchmarks in national competitions.
