KISHTWAR: DD,The Indian Army has intensified its search operation across Kishtwar District’s remote areas to knock down the terrorists, and their harborers.

“The soldiers have launched multiple search operations in separate areas of the hilly and difficult terrain to ensure the elimination of the terror threat,” said the sources in defence force.

Acting on the credible intelligence inputs, they told Diplomat Digital that the Indian Army has launched the cordon and search operation to bust the natural hideouts, and apprehend the sympathizers/harborers of the terrorists.
They said that the Army has increased pressure and it has prevented the repeated attempt of the terror organization to re-active / revive terrorism in Chenab Valley.
“Our constant check on the terror activities, and ground support to the Indian Army by the people, including Tribals, has enabled the security forces to gain upper-hands,” they added.
“It was the result of our intelligence network in the Indian Army that the movement of three foreign (Pakistani) terrorists was tracked, and they were neutralized, following a gunfight in the dense forest of Chatroo on April 11, 2025,” said the sources.DD
