Poonch, (DD): Security forces on Wednesday foiled an infiltration attempt along the Line of Control (LoC) in the Kasaliyan area of Poonch district.
According to officials, a joint search operation was launched on Tuesday evening following specific inputs about suspicious movement near the LoC. Alert troops engaged two infiltrators attempting to cross over to the Indian side.
Initial reports suggest that both terrorists may have sustained injuries in the exchange of fire. The operation was still in progress at the time of filing this report.
