Injured Displayed Courage, Assured Them Full Support: CM Omar Visits Poonch Hospital

Poonch,(DD): Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah today visited the district hospital in Poonch to meet civilians injured in recent cross-border shelling, assuring them of full support and the best possible medical care.

In a statement shared by the Office of the Chief Minister, Omar said, “Visited the district hospital in Poonch to inquire about those injured in the recent shelling. It was heartening to witness their courage and resilience.”

He emphasized that the injured had been assured of all necessary assistance from the government to support their recovery and rebuilding efforts.

The visit follows several days of intense shelling along the Line of Control in Poonch and Rajouri districts, which left multiple civilians wounded. The administration continues to monitor the situation and has deployed relief and medical teams to aid the affected areas (DD)
