The party also urged the government to reopen the tourist destinations that were recently shut following the attack on tourists in Pahalgam.

According to a press release issued here, Apni Party leaders held an extraordinary meeting of its executive committee meeting, which was also attended by all the district president from across the valley, today at the party headquarters in Sheikh Bagh, Srinagar. The meeting, presided over by party president Syed Mohammad Altaf Bukhari, was held to discuss the current political and security situation in Jammu and Kashmir, particularly in the wake of the recent horrific attack on tourists in Pahalgam.
