Intense CASO for Two Jaish Terrorists in Doda Forests

Kishtwar, J&K (India): Security forces have launched an intense search operation across Kishtwar and Doda districts of Jammu and Kashmir against Pakistani terrorists of the Jaish-e-Mohammed outfit.

The two terrorists, as per sources, are believed to have escaped towards the higher reaches of Doda district from Kishtwar.

“Security forces, especially the Delta Force—elite commandos of the Indian Army (11 Rashtriya Rifles), the Special Operations Group of Jammu and Kashmir Police, and the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF)—have been conducting joint search operations in the hills of Kishtwar district for the last month.

During the ongoing search operations, security forces, particularly the 11 RR troops, killed one of the terrorist commanders, Aadil.

As the anti-terror operation proceeded, the security forces launched a coordinated Cordon and Search Operation. Amid the intense counter-insurgency operation, it is learnt that the two terrorists have escaped to the mountains of Doda district, prompting a security alert and subsequent search operations.

Accordingly, the security forces, including the Indian Army and J&K Police, have posted photographs of these terrorists in public places across Doda District so that their identities can be established and immediate action can be taken against them.

Till the filing of this report, the search operation was continuing.DD
