Tehran:DD, Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian sustained injuries when an Israeli warplane bombed an area where the Supreme National Security Council of Iran was holding a confidential meeting in their country, last month during the 12-day war between Iran and Israel.
However, the Iranian President survived the deadly attack on his life on June 16, as per the media reports.
The media reports further explains that the meeting was chaired by the President of Iran and it was attended by the Judiciary Chief Gholam – Hossein Mohseni -Eje’i, Iranian Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf, and top ranking Govt officials.
Pertinently, Israel had carried out a series of air raids on Iran’s nuclear sites and later, the United States of America’s Air Force also bombed the place, before agreeing on a ceasefire deal.
Although the tensions were de-escalated after the 12 – day of war in which Iran fired hundreds of missiles/hypersonic missiles causing destruction and panic inside Israel following the air strikes in Iran, the tension still continues in the region.
Meanwhile, Yemen’s military has also fired a number of missiles, and sunk ships on the Red Sea while appealing for a ceasefire in Gaza where innocent citizens are being killed in the bombing.
The killings in Gaza have sparked world-wide condemnation and protests against Israel. However, the situation remains unchanged. (AGENCIES)
