Israel-Hamas Peace Deal: Four female Israeli captives released from Gaza City

Gaza: DD,Hamas on Saturday has handed over four female Israeli captives to the international committee of the Red Cross at Palestine Squire in Gaza City.
The release of these four Israeli captives was possible under a truce deal following the around fifteen months war in Gaza between Hamas and Israeli Defence Force.
The war broke out after an operation was carried out by Hamas across the border in Israel on October 7, 2023 that sparked widespread condemnation against the brutal attack.
In response to the attack, Israel attacked Gaza to hunt down Hamas.
After months, an agreement was reached between Hamas and Israel to restore peace, and exchange prisoners / captives from both sides. (agencies) DD
