Tehran: The Iranian Government’s Foreign Minister, Abbas Araghchi has accused Israel of aggressive policy that aims to disrupt the nuclear talks with the United States.
The reaction came, following a deadly explosion that rocked a port in Southern Iran reportedly linked to a shipment of chemical ingredients used to make missiles propellant that killed dozens and injured hundreds.
Accordingly, the Iranian Minister has accused Israel of trying to disrupt talks with the United States on Iran’s nuclear programme which were in progress.
Importantly, the talks between US and Iran were moving towards positive directions in Oman.
However, Israel was unhappy with the talks and always wanted the Iranian nuclear programme to be dismantled completely although the negotiations were focused on ensuring Iran does not develop nuclear weapons. If the talks would have been successful, Tehran would have received relief on international sanctions. (Agencies)
