Jammu :TDD, Jammu Central Mahajan Sabha, Shalamar Road, Jammu celebrated 135th Birth Anniversary of Justice Mehr Chand Mahajan at Mahajan Bhawan, Shalamar Road, Jammu with solemnly and fervor. Shiv Partap Gupta, Sr. Vice President of JCMS and Zonal President (J&K Zone), Akhil Bhartiya Mahajan Shiromani Sabha threw light on the life history of the Justice . and described him a great patriot and with whose wisdom Jammu and Kashmir became part of India. He spoke about the simplicity and social reforms in Mahajan Biradari especially.
Arun Gupta President Chamber of Commerce and Industries also participated alongwith his team members and said that justice sahib was against unnecessary extravaganza in marriages and this should allowed by the biradaries.
Sanjay Mahajan General Secretary while remembering justice Mahajan elaborated that he was a member of Redcliff Boundary Commission for Punjab who played a vital roll to make Jammu and Kashmir part of India. Subash Gupta, also spoke on the occasion. He called for followup the values and principles of Justice Sahib for the welfare of the Biradari.
