Jammu , TDD,The Jammu Muslim Front (JMF) has strongly criticized chief minister Omar Abdullah for allegedly sidelining the concerns of the Jammu Muslim community during a recent civil society meeting. In a press statement, Shuja Zaffar, Chairman of the Front, and Qazi Imran, its President, expressed disappointment over what they termed as “deliberate disregard” for their issues, leaving the community feeling ignored and marginalized.
The Front accused Abdullah of allowing the meeting to focus on appeasing individuals aligned with a section of the BJP, sidelining those who opposed the abrogation of Articles 370 and 35A. “This oversight is a betrayal of the hopes and trust placed in the National Conference leadership to provide a platform for Jammu Muslims,” the statement read.
JMF leaders demanded immediate action from Omar Abdullah to address the grievances of the Jammu Muslim community. They reaffirmed their commitment to advocating for the rights and interests of their people, stating, “We will not be silenced or ignored.”TDD
