Srinagar, (DD): The airports in Srinagar, Jammu, and Leh will remain closed till May 14, as authorities have extended the Notice to Airmen (NOTAM) in view of the ongoing military tension between India and Pakistan.
A senior official confirmed that the NOTAM extension comes in light of “the prevailing security situation,” particularly after India launched Operation Sindoor, targeting terror infrastructure across the border in retaliation to the recent deadly attack in Pahalgam.
“Flight operations at Srinagar and Jammu will remain suspended till May 14 following the extended NOTAM,” the official said.
At Srinagar International Airport, Hajj flights have now been cancelled for the third day in a row, leaving several pilgrims and passengers stranded amid the escalating conflict.
An official from Srinagar Airport also confirmed that the airport is closed up to 2359 hours of May 14, 2025, for flight operations.(DD)
