Udhampur :TDD,Due to heavy rainfall in the plains and snowfall in the hilly regions, the Jammu-Srinagar National Highway has been closed. The highway has been blocked at various places in Ramban due to landslides and snowfall.
No vehicle is being allowed to move towards the valley. Consequently, all vehicles, big and small, have been stopped at Jakheni Chowk in Udhampur. Only those tourists who have online hotel bookings are being allowed to proceed towards Patnitop.
Traffic DSP informed that the traffic will be resumed as soon as the weather clears.TDD
