J&K Assembly to Begin Autumn Session with Obituary References Today

Srinagar:DD, The Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly is set to begin its autumn session today on Thursday.

A list of business issued by assembly secretary, on October 23, the session will start at 10:00 a.m., with obituary references to pay homage to several departed political leaders and public figures.

The Speaker will make references on the sad demise of Satya Pal Malik, Former Governor of J&K, Gulchain Singh Charak, Former Minister, Dina Nath Bhagat, Former MLA, Ghulam Nabi Shaheen, Former MLC, Ramesh Arora, Former MLC, and Sardar Mohammad Akhlaq Khan, Former MLC, list stated.

The session, which marks the beginning of a nine-day schedule, will commence with these tributes before proceeding to legislative business in the following days. (KNC)
