J&K Cabinet Approves LG’s Assembly Speech, Focuses on Unemployment Crisis

Jammu :- TDD,In a significant development, the Jammu and Kashmir cabinet, under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Omar Abdullah, approved the Lieutenant Governor’s speech for the upcoming Assembly session while prioritizing the pressing issue of unemployment in the region.
During the meeting, Chief Minister Abdullah emphasized the critical nature of unemployment, describing it as a “grave issue” requiring immediate attention and action. The cabinet directed all ministers to begin comprehensive exercises within their respective departments to address the unemployment situation effectively.
Minister Javed Rana revealed that the government has already initiated concrete steps by referring job vacancies to both the Public Service Commission (PSC) and the Service Selection Board (SSB). Addressing concerns about the government’s commitment to its promises, the Chief Minister assured that despite being only a month into their tenure, his administration would ensure visible progress within the next two months, staying true to their election manifesto commitments.TDD
