Srinagar, DD, Jammu and Kashmir Director General of Police, Nalin Prabhat today chaired a high-level joint security meeting at the Police Control Room, Kashmir, to review preparations ahead of the Shri Amarnath Ji Yatra 2025, Eid-ul-Adha, and other forthcoming events.
At the outset, officers briefed the DGP on proposed security plans, underlining the need for effective inter-agency coordination.
DGP Prabhat stressed the implementation of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and called for proactive risk mitigation strategies. He instructed field officers to dismantle the terror ecosystem and ensure comprehensive security coverage, including deployment of Anti-Sabotage teams along Yatra routes.
The DGP further emphasised the use of advanced technologies and real-time surveillance to enhance threat detection and situational awareness.
The meeting concluded with a strong commitment to ensure maximum preparedness and coordination for the peaceful conduct of all upcoming events.
The session was attended by senior officers including Spl. DGP Coordination S.J.M. Gillani (IPS), ADGP Armed Anand Jain (IPS), IGP Kashmir, IG CRPF, IG BSF, DIGs, district SSPs of the Kashmir Zone, and other top officials (DD)
