Srinagar,(TDD): In a significant development, the J&K government Wednesday appointed senior National Conference leader Nasir Aslam Wani as the Advisor to Chief Minister Omar Abdullah.
An order issued by the General Administration Department (GAD) reads that Nasir Aslam Wani is hereby appointed as the Advisor to Chief Minister J&K.
“The terms and conditions of the appointment shall be notified separately,” the order duly signed by the Commissioner/Secretary to the Government Sanjeev Verma. Nasir fought Assembly elections from Kupwara Assembly segment but lost to PDP’s Fayaz Ahmed Mir.(TDD)
