J&K LG Pays Tribute to Armed Forces on 53rd Vijay Diwas

Jammu :TDD, Lieutenant Governor of Jammu and Kashmir, Manoj Sinha, paid homage to India’s Armed Forces on the occasion of the 53rd Vijay Diwas through a heartfelt message shared on the official X (Twitter) handle of the LG’s office.

In his tribute, the Lieutenant Governor acknowledged the historic victory of 1971 and its enduring significance. Sinha specifically highlighted the exemplary valor and unwavering dedication of the military personnel who secured India’s decisive triumph in the 1971 war.

The Lieutenant Governor also expressed deep gratitude for the armed forces’ steadfast commitment to protecting the nation, underscoring the importance of remembering and honoring their sacrifices. Vijay Diwas, celebrated on December 16, marks India’s victory over Pakistan in the 1971 war, which led to the creation of Bangladesh.TDD
