BANDIPORA: Jammu and Kashmir Entrepreneurship Development Institute (JKEDI) District Centre Bandipora today commenced the sixth batch of the Management Development Programme (MDP) under the Raising and Accelerating MSME Performance Programme (RAMP) at the District Employment & Counselling Centre Bandipora.
A total of 22 female candidates have registered for the programme. The MDP is being conducted with the objective of enhancing managerial capabilities, entrepreneurial skills, and business management competencies among existing and prospective entrepreneurs, with a special focus on women-led enterprises.
The programme aims to sensitise participants on key aspects of enterprise management, including financial planning, marketing strategies, statutory compliances, and growth-oriented business practices, enabling them to efficiently manage and scale their business ventures in a competitive environment.
Speaking on the occasion, Syed Asraar Qadri, District Nodal Officer, JKEDI Bandipora, highlighted the objectives of the programme and emphasised the importance of women entrepreneurship in the Valley, underscoring its vital role in fostering inclusive and sustainable economic development.
The initiative by JKEDI, is aimed at promoting entrepreneurship, strengthening the startup ecosystem, and encouraging self-employment opportunities in the district by equipping participants with practical knowledge and managerial insights essential for sustainable business development.DD
