Joint Training Boosts Security Forces’ Capabilities

Jammu, TDD: Additional Director General of Police (ADGP) Jammu Zone,  Anand Jain, today lauded the successful conclusion of a month-long joint training exercise between the Army’s 1 Para Special Forces and 13 personnel from the Jammu and Kashmir Police’s Special Operation Group (SOG). The intensive training, conducted at the Sunjuwan military base, aimed to enhance the operational capabilities of both forces and strengthen their collaborative efforts in maintaining law and order.

The ADGP, during his visit to the base, interacted with the commandos and commended their dedication and professionalism. He highlighted the significance of such joint training initiatives, emphasizing that they equip security personnel with a diverse range of tactical and operational skills essential for effectively addressing security challenges.

Jain expressed optimism that the joint training will significantly bolster the capabilities of both forces, contributing to the overall security of the state. He reaffirmed the police force’s commitment to working closely with the Army and other security agencies to ensure peace and security in the region. TDD
