JP Juniors Hosts Annual Sports Day 2024-25 with Grandeur

Jammu, DD, JP Juniors celebrated its Annual Sports Day 2024-25 on March 2, 2025 , with great enthusiasm and energy. The event was a perfect blend of sportsmanship and teamwork, showcasing the athletic spirit and holistic development of young learners.

The occasion was graced by Mr. Ranjeet Kalra, Member of the J&K Government UT Sports Council & Member of the Governing Council (Sports) Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board, as the Guest of Honour* . The school was also privileged to welcome Ms. Aparana Kohli, Principal of Birla Open Minds International School, as the Special Guest.

The event began with a warm welcome address by the anchor, followed by the felicitation of the esteemed guests with bouquets. The Opening Ceremony was led by the school’s student leaders—Mr. Shinoy Chopra (Head Boy), Ms. Samairah Sharma (Literary Captain), and Mr. Aadvik Rai (Sports Captain)—who set the stage for an action-packed day.

The audience was enthralled by a vibrant Welcome Dance, which was followed by a Yoga Performance, highlighting the significance of mindfulness and physical well-being. The Fun Races brought an exciting competitive spirit, where young athletes displayed agility, enthusiasm, and sportsmanship.

The winners of the races were honored with medals, celebrating their dedication and achievements. To acknowledge every child’s participation and effort, all young athletes received medals, reinforcing the school’s commitment to encouragement and inclusivity.

During his address, Guest of Honour, Mr. Ranjeet Kalra , appreciated the Branch Head, Ms. Sonal Gupta , and her team for their exceptional efforts in organizing the event and ensuring its grand success. He commended the school’s dedication to fostering young talent and providing students with opportunities to shine beyond academics. Mr. Kalra also applauded the performances of the students, praising their confidence, enthusiasm, and discipline, which reflected the school’s commitment to all-round development.

The event concluded with a Vote of Thanks delivered by Ms. Sonal Gupta, Branch Head of JP Juniors , expressing gratitude to the dignitaries, parents, teachers, and students for making the celebration a resounding success. A final round of Fun Races ensured that the day ended on a joyous and energetic note.

With yet another successful edition of its Annual Sports Day, JP Juniors continues its mission of fostering well-rounded, confident, and spirited young learners.DD
