Justice Mohammad Yousuf Wani, Judge High Court of J&K and Ladakh (Administrative Judge District Kargil) visit Kargil

Kargil:DD, Justice Mohammad Yousuf Wani Judge, High Court of J&K and Ladakh (Administrative Judge for District Kargil) to District Kargil visited District Kargil on 22nd of August 2025.

The Justice was warmly received at Drass by Spalzes Angmo, Principal District and Sessions Judge Kargil; Chemit Yurgyal, Secretary (DLSA), Kargil; Sadiq Ali Wazir Munsiff Drass, Adv. Reyaz Ahmad, President, Bar Association Kargil along with members of the Bars; Vishal Atri SDM Drass: Shri Inayatullah Dy SP HQ Kargil and other Officials of the district administration.

In Kargil, the Justice was received by Rakesh Kumar Deputy Commissioner Kargil, Shree Raam R. SSP Kargil, Wangial Tsering Chief Judicial Magistrate Kargil and members of the Bar.

On the next day Justice visited the District Court Complex, where Hon’ble Justice was accorded Guard of Honor.

After that Justice inspected the Courts of Principal District and Session Judge, Chief Judicial Magistrate and Special Judicial Mobile Magistrate.

Justice also inspected the old criminal and civil files and Hon’ble Justice was also briefed upon all the pending cases in district Kargil.

Later on Justice interacted with the staff members and enquired of their grievances.

Later on Justice visited the upcoming New Court Complex at Kurbathang, where Justice was briefed on the upcoming Judicial Complex by Sadiq Ali Executive Engineer PWD.

Justice inspected and reviewed all the upcoming buildings in the complex and also congratulated the Engineers affiliated with this project and the Members of the Judicial Fraternity present on the occasion for the upcoming new court complex.

The Justice also had a brief meeting with the Deputy Commissioner Kargil, Executive Engineer PWD, Judicial Officers and Members of the Bars with regard to the timely completion of the Project and also discussed on the pending DPR’s pertaining to the Judicial Infrastructure.

On this Justice assured that this matter will be taken up with the High Court of J&K and Ladakh and also with the concerned Administrative Secretaries of UT Ladakh for its immediate approval, so that there is no hindrance in the early completion of the Project.

Justice also had an interaction with the members of the Bar Kargil to address their issues and grievances.DD
