Karra among other JKPCC leaders meet victim family of Parveez

Jammu: DD, Jammu and Kashmir Pradesh Congress Committee leaders today visited the residence of martyrs Mohammed Parvez, who was killed in firing here at Phallian Mandal in Satwari recently.
The members were led by President, Tariq Hameed Karra with Working President Raman Bhalla, AICC Secretary Shah Nawaz Chaudhary, Chief Spokesperson Ravinder Sharma, Ex Legislators Ved Mahajan, Th Balbir Singh, PCC/ST wing Incharge Ch Hussain Ali Wafa, Seva Dal Chief Vijay Sharma, Ex Councilor Dwarka Choudhary, Sanjeev Panda, Bilal Rashid, Rajinder Singh Randhawa, Latish Sharma, Sanjay Katal and others visited the residence of Tribal youth killed in police firing in Falain Mandal area and shared the grief and pain of the family.

Senior congress leaders expressed grief and shock over the highly unfortunate and condemnable incident in which an innocent person has been killed in broad day light by the policefiring.

Police itself has clarified that the victim was innocent and assured compensation and job etc.

Karra said that no amount of compensation can do justice to the family and minimize the shock and grief of the family, mother and young wife and others. However police has given clean chit regarding the antecedents of the victim.

In such circumstances a judicial probe besides arrest of culprits should be ordered and FIR under relevant provisions should be registered.

Raman Bhalla also shared the grief and pain of the family and strongly condemned the innocent killing.

He shared the concern of the society against such irresponsible and illegal action of the police and demanded probe into the incident and appropriate legal action in the matter.

Shah Nawaz Chaudhary strongly condemned the incident of innocent killing in targetted police firing which is very unfortunate.

He said such a culture is not tolerable and guilty should be punished in accordance with law of land.

He demanded judicial probe into the incident.

Several senior leaders shared the grief and sorrow of the family and prayed for peace to the departed soul and strength to the family to bear the loss.DD
