Jammu :TDD,President Jammu & Kashmir Pradesh Congress Committee Tariq Hameed Karra has expressed deep shock over the sad demise of Former Prime Minister Dr Manmohan Singh ji and said that country has lost a great son,it’s greatest economist, a great statesman, most humble and gentleman Prime Minister.
In a condolence message , Karra said that Dr Singh has made immense contributions to the country in different capacities especially in the field of economy, as the Finance Minister in a most difficult period and twice as Prime Minister.
He brought great honour to the nation as a great economist and as a Prime Minister for ten years. He will always be remembered as a great,humble ,honest and capable Prime Minister of the country.
During UPA 1& 2 under his prime ministership ,J&K received huge financial package and economic boost and all round infrastructure development in every sphere besides major political initiative for peace and normalcy.
Meanwhile JKPCC Chief Spokesperon Ravinder Sharma has conveyed heartfelt condolence to the family on behalf of entire rank and file of the party & prayers for peace to the departed soul.The party has cancelled all sorts of functions of the party during the period of mourning.TDD
