In the Kashmir Valley, Pulwama and Shopian recorded the lowest temperatures at -9.5°C, followed closely by Anantnag at -9.2°C and Khudwani at -8.4°C. Even Srinagar, the summer capital of Jammu and Kashmir, shivered at -7.3°C, marking one of its coldest nights this season.

Meanwhile, in the Ladakh region, Leh and Kargil froze at -12.2°C and -12.9°C, respectively, while Drass, often referred to as the “Gateway to Ladakh,” recorded -17.7°C.

In the Jammu region, the winter chill was less severe, though Padder stood out with a frosty -8.8°C. Jammu city and Kathua remained relatively warmer at 8.0°C.
