In Ladakh, the cold was relentless. Leh froze at -13.2°C, while Kargil recorded -12.4°C, cementing its place as one of the coldest regions in the region today.

As December deepens, the temperatures are expected to dip further. Residents are urged to take precautions, ensure warmth, and limit exposure to the freezing outdoors as the cold wave tightens its grip.(TDD)
