Kathua – Punjab Police jointly launch crackdown against mining mafia

KATHUA: – Kathua Police and Punjab Police have jointly launched a crackdown against the illegal mining mafia in Ravi River along the Jammu Kashmir and Punjab border.

“The Station House Officer (SHO) Lakhanpur along with DySP DAR and Punjab Police took up a united initiative against the mining mafia from Ravi towards Punjab, and Kathua which were used by the mining mafia for illegal mining,” an official said.

The teams of Kathua Police and Punjab Police conducted searches in different areas along the river in their respective areas to put a curb on the mining mafia. (TDD)
