Kishtwar: DLTFC approves 20 cases under JK REGP

KISHTWAR, TDD, The District Level Task Force Committee (DLTFC) today approved 20 loan proposals under the Jammu and Kashmir Rural Employment Generation Programme (JKREGP) to support local entrepreneurs.

The approval was granted at a meeting chaired by District Development Commissioner (DDC) Rajesh Kumar Shavan. The Scheme is being implemented by the J&K Khadi & Village Industries Board.

The Committee meticulously reviewed and scrutinized applications for seeking grant of loan for businesses, including provisional store, commercial vehicles and other business units, ultimately approving 20 cases.

The total amount approved is around Rs 1.00 crore, with a subsidy provision of Rs 35 lakh to be provided to the beneficiaries.

The establishment of these units is expected to generate new employment opportunities, contributing significantly to the economic growth of the district.

The meeting was attended by GM DIC (Phulail Singh; LDM Harsh Rawal and representatives from RSETI, JKEDI, Polytechnic, JK Bank Cluster Office as well as delegates from ITI and other stakeholders.TDD
