Kulgam: DD, A minor boy from Katrasoo village of Kulgam lost his life due to hepatitis on Thursday
An official said that the child, identified as Abu Bakur, son of Javed Ahmad Bhat, was admitted at Children’s Hospital Srinagar and passed away while being shifted to Delhi for advanced treatment.
The boy had been suffering from suspected Hepatitis leading to liver failure, official said.
Despite efforts, he succumbed during the referral, they added.
Cognizance of the incident has been taken and investigation on the spread disease has been initiated. (KNC)
