Leh, DD, In a significant initiative aimed at empowering the of the region, the Ladakh Police conducted a Cyber Awareness cum Career Counseling Session for the students of the University of Ladakh on April 10, 2025.
The event was spearheaded by Shri Ishtiaq Ahmed Kacho, JKPS, Superintendent of Police, who emphasized the growing importance of cyber awareness in today’s digital world. He urged students to stay informed and vigilant against cyber threats while also highlighting the numerous career opportunities available in law enforcement and cyber security.
Joining the session were DySP (IT) Kunzes Dolma, JKPS, and Inspector James Dechen, SO IT PHQ, who delivered insightful presentations on online safety, responsible digital behavior, and the role of technology in modern policing. The team also addressed students’ queries regarding careers in the police and IT sectors, providing guidance on recruitment processes and skill development.
The interactive session saw enthusiastic participation from students, who appreciated the Ladakh Police’s efforts in bridging the gap between technology, safety, and career aspirations.
