Kargil, DD, In a proud and historic moment for Ladakh and India, Rinchen Youdol has clinched the Gold Medal in the PARA Poomsae Individual Female Senior P34 Category at the 2025 Junior, Cadet & Para Asian Taekwondo Championships, held in Kuching, Sarawak, Malaysia.
The prestigious tournament saw participation from 12 countries across Asia. Demonstrating unwavering determination, grit, and exceptional skill, Rinchen Youdol emerged victorious, bringing home the gold and making history as the first-ever Gold Medalist from Ladakh in an Asian Taekwondo Championship.
Joint Director of Youth Services and Sports, Tahir Hussain Zubdavi, extended heartfelt congratulations to Rinchen for her groundbreaking achievement. He also applauded her parents, the Ladakh Taekwondo Association, and the entire people of Ladakh for their continuous support and encouragement.
