Diplomat Correspondent

Leh,DD: The Ladakh Autonomous Hill Development Council, Leh (LAHDC Leh), led by Executive Councillor Tashi Namgyal Yakzee (Councillor, Changthang), invites all citizens of Ladakh to participate in Earth Hour 2025 by turning off all non-essential lights on March 22nd, from 8:30 PM to 9:30 PM.

This year, Earth Hour coincides with World Water Day, emphasizing the urgent need for water conservation in the face of growing climate challenges. By coming together for this global movement, we can take significant steps toward a sustainable future. As a demonstration of Ladakh’s commitment, the iconic Shanti Stupa and Thiksey Monastery in Leh will participate in the switch-off, symbolizing our collective resolve to protect the planet.

Let’s unite and create the Biggest Hour for Earth! DD
