Kishtwar, (DD): A landslide at Dool has severely damaged the main Naigarh Gravity water supply line, leaving Kishtwar town and its adjoining areas facing a water crisis. The disruption, which occurred earlier today, has caused widespread inconvenience to residents who rely on the pipeline for their daily water needs.
According to officials, the landslide struck the pipeline due to ongoing weather conditions, leading to a major breakage in the supply network. In response, the administration has swiftly mobilized men and machinery to carry out urgent restoration work. “Efforts are being made on a war footing to repair the damage and restore normal water supply as soon as possible,” an official from the water department stated.
