Katra, (DD)A landslide triggered by heavy rainfall has blocked the Adhkuwari–Bhawan battery car route on the revered Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Ji Shrine track in Reasi district, causing temporary disruption in pilgrim movement.
Authorities confirmed that the battery car service has been suspended, and pilgrims en route to the holy shrine are being redirected via the ancient traditional track to ensure uninterrupted access to darshan.
Shrine Board officials are monitoring the situation closely, and debris clearance operations are currently underway. Restoration of the battery car route is being treated as a priority, with efforts ongoing to reopen the path as early as possible.
