Mendhar:TDD, Rashtriya Rifles Battalion of Indian Army organised a lecture on Women Empowerment at GGHS , Ari in Mendhar
The lecture was aimed to guide the children to take decisions on their own for their personal as well as social benefits. He emphasized that it is beyond doubt that given the right opportunities and proper environment, children have excelled in different spheres of life. The lecture highlighted the need to create suitable conditions to facilitate and encourage children to have full, active and unhindered participation in social, economic, political and public life so that their potential are realised fully for the benefits of the society. Time and again it has been proved that children’s active participation in decision making has positive impact on education, health, nutrition, employment, social protection in society, as well as social and economical development of the nation. Various Government schemes started for upliftment of children were also mentioned to the audience. Women’s Empowerment has a multiplier effect not only on their own lives but also on the family and the society. A total of 73 students including 67 x Children and 06 x Teacher attended the event.
GGHS, Ari applauded the efforts of the Army in organising such activities which generate a feeling of goodwill in the civil populace.TDD
