Srinagar: In a horrific incident, a minor girl was killed by a leopard at Gallan tribal residential area at village Khiram of Srigufwara in Anantnag District.
“The minor girl was outside the residence, when the leopard attacked her, and took her away in the woods,” said the reports.
The family raised an alarm, and they started searches for the girl with the locals. Following searches, they found the body of the minor with fatal injury marks.
The department concerned has also been informed about the incident, and accordingly, they have also started making efforts to catch the leopard from the residential areas to avoid human-animal conflict.DD
