Srinagar, (DD): Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha today visited Balidan Stambh in Srinagar’s iconic Lal Chowk area, where he paid homage to the martyrs and inspected key locations in the city centre.
The visit followed his earlier stop at Tulmulla in Ganderbal, where he participated in the annual Kheer Bhawani Mela. The Lieutenant Governor welcomed devotees and offered prayers at the historic Kheer Bhawani Temple, one of the most significant spiritual events for the Kashmiri Pandit community.
During his tour of Srinagar, LG Sinha reviewed developmental works and emphasized the importance of preserving public spaces of cultural and historical significance. His visit underscored the administration’s commitment to promoting communal harmony and honoring the legacy of those who sacrificed their lives for the nation(DD)
