Jammu, TDD,The Lieutenant Governor of Jammu and Kashmir, Manoj Sinha today announced that the Jammu Tawi River Front project is nearing completion with 90% of the work already done and the project will attract tourists in large numbers.
Speaking during his visit to the site, Sinha credited the Smart City team for their dedicated efforts in advancing the ambitious project. He expressed confidence that the riverfront would become a significant tourist attraction, drawing visitors from across India and around the world.
The LG also revealed plans for a second phase of the project, which includes the development of a township along the banks of the Tawi River.
This township is expected to serve as another key attraction, further enhancing the region’s appeal. Highlighting the project’s transformative potential, Sinha remarked that Jammu’s evenings would soon rival those of Lucknow, a city renowned for its vibrant culture and lively atmosphere. (TDD)
