Jammu, (DD): Amid an ongoing encounter in Kupwara, Leader of Opposition (LoP) in Jammu and Kashmir, Sunil Sharma, has reiterated his support for the security forces, stating that they are effectively handling the situation.
“Security forces are doing their job with utmost dedication. They will not rest until the remaining terrorists are neutralized,” Sharma said.
Deputy Chief Minister Surinder Choudhary also condemned attempts to destabilize Jammu and Kashmir, asserting that such conspiracies would never succeed.
“The brotherhood of Jammu and Kashmir remains strong. Any attempt to weaken India or create unrest will not be tolerated,” Choudhary stated.
Meanwhile, security forces have launched a cordon and search operation in the Krumbhoora-Zachaldara area of Handwara, where the encounter is taking place. Jammu and Kashmir Police, along with the Army, are actively engaged in the operation.
