New Delhi (DD): The Ministry of Home Affairs has ordered the transfer of 26 IAS officers belonging to the AGMUT cadre, with immediate effect. The reshuffle includes several key officers from Jammu and Kashmir being posted to other Union Territories, while new officers are being brought into J&K.
According to the official order, prominent officers relieved from Jammu and Kashmir include Pandurang K Pole, Vijay Kumar Bidhuri, Sanjiv M Gadkar, Shakeel Ul Rehman Rather, Pardeep Kumar, Rahul Sharma, Choudhary Mohammad Yasin, and Rakesh Kumar. They have been posted to various UTs including Delhi, Goa, Chandigarh, Ladakh, and Puducherry.
Simultaneously, several IAS officers have been posted to Jammu and Kashmir from other regions. These include Ashish Chandra Verma (1994 batch), Anil Kumar Singh (1995), Naveen S L (2012), Mahima Madan (2021), Ananth Dwivedi (2021), Shreya Singhal (2020), and Rishi Kumar (2021).
In addition, Shrikant Balasaheb Suse (2016) has been transferred from Ladakh to Jammu and Kashmir, while Choudhary Mohammad Yasin has been posted from J&K to Puducherry.
The order also includes transfers among other UTs. Dilraj Kaur moves to Delhi from Andaman & Nicobar Islands, while Chanchal Yadav and Sachin Shinde shift to the islands from Delhi. Other notable postings include Krishna Mohan Uppu, Smitha R, and Soma Sekhar Apparao Kotaru, who have been moved to Puducherry from Delhi and Andaman & Nicobar Islands.
The reshuffle spans multiple Union Territories including Goa, Arunachal Pradesh, Ladakh, Lakshadweep, and Mizoram, highlighting a routine yet significant realignment of the AGMUT cadre officers.(DD)
