Major General Anupinder Bevli ADG JK&L NCC Directorate Visits NCC Training Academy, Nagrota

Nagrota:Major General Anupinder Bevli, VSM, Additional Director General (ADG), Jammu Kashmir and Ladakh NCC Directorate visited the NCC Training Academy (NTA), Nagrota on 22 December 2025 to review the training and preparedness of the Republic Day Contingent (RDC)–2026.

The contingent comprising of boy and girl cadets of UTs of J&K and Ladakh has been undergoing intensive training at NTA Nagrota for the past seven weeks and will represent the Jammu Kashmir and Ladakh NCC Directorate at the Republic Day Camp in New Delhi.

The visit highlighted the rigorous training standards and cultural vibrancy demonstrated by the cadets with remarkable precision, discipline, and commitment.

During the visit, Major General Bevli personally interacted with Best Cadets and Youth Exchange Programme (YEP) aspirants. He reviewed the performances of cadets aspiring for Kartavya Path, Guard of Honour, and Prime Minister’s Rally.

The Flag Area projects displayed outstanding artistic and technical creativity through well-crafted models and thematic exhibits, earning high commendation from the ADG.

The event also featured impressive cultural performances including group song, group dance, and ballet portraying themes of patriotism, national unity, and social harmony.

Addressing the cadets, the ADG emphasized the pivotal role of NCC in fostering national integration, discipline, and leadership among youth.

He appreciated the high standards of training maintained at the Nagrota Training Academy and urged cadets to uphold the rich legacy of NCC through personal and professional excellence.

He further stressed the importance of integrity, commitment to national values, and self-belief.

Major General Bevli lauded the dedicated efforts of the officers, Associate NCC Officers (ANOs), training staff, and ex-cadets involved in selection, training and kitting of the Directorate Contingent.

He encouraged the cadets to perform to their fullest potential at the Republic Day Camp, make lasting friendships, and bring laurels to themselves, their parents, and the Jammu Kashmir and Ladakh NCC Directorate.DD
