Jammu:TDD,Major General Anupinder Bevli, VSM assumed the appointment of Additional Director General of NCC Directorate Jammu Kashmir and Ladakh on 01 Nov 2024.
Major General Anupinder Bevli, VSM and alumni of the National Defence Academy, Khadakvasla, Indian Military Academy, Dehradun and National Defence College, New Delhi is a third generation Army Officer.
With a chequered military career spanning over three decades, he has excelled in all facets. The General Officer has tenanted prestigious command and staff assignments, including tenures in active operational areas such as Siachin, Op Vijay (Tiger Hill), Counter Terrorist operations in J&K and North East.
The General Officer assumes the appointment at a time when the Union Territories of Jammu and Kashmir as well as Ladakh are undergoing major changes and the NCC itself has shifted focus to enrolment of youth from the remote far flung areas of Jammu Kashmir and Ladakh while integrating them into Nation building.
With his immense experience and leadership, the Directorate is all set to achieve higher glory and laurels.TDD
