Major General AS Bevli, VSM, ADG JK&L Directorate visits NCC Training Academy, Nagrota

Jammu: TDD,Major General AS Bevli, VSM, Additional Director General (ADG), Jammu Kashmir and Ladakh Directorate, National Cadet Corps (NCC), visited the Nagrota Training Academy on 13th December 2024 to review the training and preparations of the Republic Day Contingent – 2025. The visit highlighted the rigorous training efforts, creative displays, and cultural vibrancy showcased by the cadets.

The visit commenced with a ceremonial Guard of Honour presented by the cadets, demonstrating their precision, discipline, and commitment.
Major General Bevli personally interacted with 14 Best Cadets and Youth Exchange Program aspirants, motivating them to enhance their knowledge and vocabulary.

During the inspection, the ADG reviewed the drill contingent and observed performances by Kartavya Path and Prime Minister’s Rally aspirants.
The Flag Area display showcased artistic and technical creativity, with prototypes of innovative self-made ideas earning high commendation from the ADG.

In his address to the cadets, Major General Bevli highlighted the NCC’s pivotal role in fostering character building, discipline, and leadership among the youth. He applauded the high training standards upheld at the Nagrota Training Academy and emphasized the importance of carrying forward the values of the NCC in their personal and professional lives.

The cultural program by the cadets added a vibrant note to the visit, featuring captivating group songs, ballet performances, and dances. The ADG expressed his admiration for the efforts of the cadets, ANOs, and PI staff, describing the day as “unique and fulfilling.”

The visit served as a testament to the dedication, talent, and spirit of the cadets, reinforcing the NCC’s mission to inspire and empower young citizens to achieve their potential and contribute to the nation.TDD
