Jammu:-TDD,Balwant Singh Mankotia, MLA of Chenani Constituency, met the Chief Engineer of the Jal Shakti Department in Jammu today to discuss the pressing water supply crisis affecting the whole Chenani Constituency.
During the meeting, Mankotia expressed his strong disapproval of the department’s inefficiency in resolving the long-standing water supply issues, despite repeated appeals and reminders from his office and the local residents.
“The Jal Shakti Department has completely failed to address the water crisis in Chenani constituency. This negligence has caused immense suffering to the people of my constituency. I have strictly demanded immediate action to resolve this issue without further delay,” said Mankotia.
Mankotia criticized the department for its lack of accountability and urged the Chief Engineer to implement effective and sustainable solutions to ensure uninterrupted water supply in the region and provide water tank facility till permanent solution. He further warned that continued inaction would compel him to escalate the matter to the highest levels of the administration.
Balwant Singh Mankotia reiterated his commitment to ensuring basic amenities and addressing the grievances of the people of Chenani Constituency, vowing to hold the concerned authorities accountable for their responsibilities.TDD
